The agency
A consultancy with conviction
We're Marbl Codes - the trading name of MEM Digital Limited, a UK company based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We build websites, web platforms, and AI-driven products for a deliberately small set of clients.
Marbl exists because too much of the web is built fast and badly. We do the opposite: fewer projects, more care. Performance, accessibility, security, and craft are the defaults, not the upsell. Every site we ship is one we'd be happy to put our own name on.
We're also building our own tools and platforms. Some are agents (Nura, Luma). Some are study pieces (Thou Art That). All of them feed back into the work we do for clients - if a pattern earns its keep on a Marbl product, it's ready to ship on yours.

The founder
Hi, I'm Richard
I've been writing code for over 27 years, professionally for the last 15. Before Marbl I built and ran web teams across agencies and in-house, shipping work for SMEs, public sector, and the kind of complicated brands you can't talk about over LinkedIn.
I started MEM Digital to do work I was proud of. Marbl Codes is what that's become: smaller, sharper, quietly ambitious. I work directly with every client - no account managers, no junior pass-the-parcel.
The platform

Built on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, R2, D1), the Anthropic Claude + OpenAI APIs, ElevenLabs for voice, and a custom design system. Hosted in the UK, fast everywhere, accessible by default.
