What is a bespoke web application?
A bespoke web application is software built for one business and used in a browser. Where a website tells people about you, an application lets them do something: book, register, pay, log in, track, quote. It can face your customers, like a booking system or a client portal, or face your team, like a dashboard, a till or an admin tool.
How do you build one without the project running away?
By scoping it properly and starting small. Most software projects that go wrong do so because too much was decided at once and too little was tested with real users.
We start with a conversation and a written scope: who uses the application, what they need to do, what it connects to, what must be true for it to be worth having, and what it costs. Then we build the smallest version that proves it works, put it in front of the people who will use it, and grow it from what we learn. Each step is agreed before it starts, so there are no surprise invoices.
What have you built?
For Battlefield Hobbies, a wargames shop in Daventry, we built a bespoke till that sells from the same stock as their online shop. The counter and the website never disagree about what is on the shelf.
For Northampton Hope Centre, a charity, the site was restructured so people in crisis find help in one click, with donations and the CRM wired in behind it.
For MEM Recruitment, the site carries a jobs board and candidate registration, the working parts of an independent recruiter’s business.
What technology do you use?
We build on modern, well-supported web technology that we host and maintain ourselves, chosen so the application is fast, secure and still maintainable in five years. We would rather describe what it does for you than list frameworks, and we will always explain a technical choice in plain English when it matters to your decision.
What happens after it goes live?
Applications change as the business does. We host what we build, keep it updated and secure, monitor it, and make changes as you need them, either as a monthly plan or quoted piece by piece. The people who built it are the people who look after it.

Launch is the start. Hosting, updates, security, backups and the changes you send us, month to month, with a person who answers the same working day.

If you are copying information between spreadsheets by hand, there is often an application waiting to be built.

Buy it if good software already does the job. Build when the off-the-shelf options force the business to work around them, charge per user in a way that punishes growth, or cannot talk to the systems you already have. We will tell you honestly if an existing product is the better answer.
You own the code we write for you and your data. We keep the licence to our own reusable tooling and say which pieces those are before you sign, which is the normal arrangement.
