The story

Where they started

A school site has more jobs than most business sites. Prospective parents, current parents, staff, pupils and old boys and girls all arrive at the same front door wanting different things, and the site has to carry hundreds of pages of policy, term dates and admissions detail without losing the warmth of the place.

What we built

A bespoke WordPress and Elementor build, not a theme. Custom post types hold the content a school publishes on a rhythm, so the office adds an entry and the right pages update themselves. The navigation is hand-coded, written for a site with hundreds of pages and five audiences, so each one finds its part of the school in a click. Open day and admissions enquiries route straight to the school office. Behind it, the hosting, caching and security are ours to run, so the school’s team only ever touches the words and the pictures.

What’s next

The site does its job. The next step is the one we always come back to on a school site: making the admissions journey shorter each year, with the open day booking front and centre when it matters.
